The Passing of a Sage…

On Saturday, December 5th, 2009, the world lost one of its greatest inspirational leaders, Jim Rohn.

Jim was truly an “original thinker,” a “Guru’s Guru” who touched and changed the lives of millions of people over his 46-year career.   His principles and teachings made a remarkable impact on me personally and professionally for nearly 4 decades.

What I loved so much about Jim’s teachings was his ability to simplify complex ideas so that anyone, with any background, could pursue and enjoy a profoundly better, richer life.  One of my favorite quotes by him:

“I wish for you a life of health, wealth and happiness; a life in which you give yourself the gift of patience, the virtue of reason, the value of knowledge, and the influence of faith in your own ability to dream about and achieve worthy rewards.”

If you never got the chance to see, hear or read Jim, it’s not too late.  His works, which are preserved via the wonderful world of publishing, will literally change your life for the better.
